Condolences

Condolence From: Ariel Hacker
Condolence: When I was young, I used to tell people that Bob and Darlene were my grandparents, because I never had grandparents, so when other kids described their grandparents, I automatically thought of Bob and Darlene. They helped raise my brother and me, and my parents thought of them as dear friends. They gave us our cat, Dandelion- he was one of the stray cats they used to take care of by their house in Monument. Darlene was such a kind and giving person, and so easy to love. I remember their amazing anniversary parties, the beautiful doll clothes Darlene would make, Bob's carnival rides. I remember how long and gorgeous Darlene's hair was, and all the kind things she would say and do. She was so magical to me, and I will always remember that. I think of her often, and I am so sad to hear of her passing. If anyone I ever meet should become an angel, it is her. She will always be with you, watching over you and loving you. I am so sorry for your loss, and I wish I could be there to show support through this tragic time. With love,
Ariel

Condolence From: Darla Barbee
Condolence: I miss you Mom. I pick up the phone to call you and then I remember that you are now in a new home. I am thankful you are at peace and rejoicing in the knowledge that you are in that very special place prepared for you. It doesn't make it hurt less. You were our matriarch, our center, and the heart of our family. You will be dearly missed, thought of often, and we will continue to tell your story and continue the legacy of love you leave behind. There aren't perfect enough words to say how much you mean to me. I love you.
