Obituary for Richard "Dick" Olsen

Richard “Dick” Olsen
1937-2015

Dick passed away at his home on December 1, 2015 after a long battle with heart disease. He was born June 1, 1937 to Helen and Hugo Olsen of Englewood, CO.
Dick attended Immanuel Lutheran grade school, St. John Lutheran School and graduated from Englewood High School. He then attended Denver
University.
Dick retired from Continental Air Lines after 38 years of service as a Senior Director. After retirement, he and Dorothy moved back to Colorado from California. In 2000 they built their home in Canon City, CO.
Mr. Olsen is survived by his wife, Dorothy; son, Jeff; daughter, Carrie (Peter) Morris; two granddaughters, Georgie Blue and Bailey Jane; and brother, Bob (Linda) Olsen. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one nephew.
Memorial Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 5th, 2015 at St. John Lutheran Church, 790 Greydene St., Canon City, CO; family will greet at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will be at a later date. Please make memorial donations to St. John Lutheran Church or to the Charity of donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson Funeral Home. Online condolences @ www.wilsonfuneralhome.org
